Psychologists
As my therapeutic journey has progressed, I've been introduced to an increasingly large array of psychologists and their work. Through books, extracts, podcasts, audiobooks and videos, I've been able to access these works. Often, I have transcribed and copied whole sections of their works and added to them this website - so important have they been to me.
Whenever a passage or an extract resonates with how I am feeling, I ensure to make a note of it, dictate it, or copy it down. It helps greatly to know that I am not alone - that many have trodden this path before me. It is also a great comfort to read one's own thoughts in the words of another.

Alice Miller
Miller's book 'The Drama of the Gifted Child' was the first book recommended to me by my therapist, and has acted as a sort of 'gateway resource' to other psychologists

Donald Winnicott
With particular focus on the true/false self, and the important role that 'play' should take in adult's lives, but is so often missing, Winnicott is another import resource for me
